Elyse Hillegass named new Gaston Chamber CEO
The Gaston Chamber of Commerce has appointed Elyse Hillegass as President & CEO. Hillegass, currently CEO of the Moore County Chamber of Commerce in Southern Pines, NC, will join the Gaston County business organization by February 1, 2006. The Ewart Group of Spartanburg, SC served as consultant to the search process.  

Carlotta Ungaro named New President at the Beaufort (SC) Chamber of Commerce 
The Board of Beaufort County Regional Chamber of Commerce announces that Carlotta Ungaro will fill the position of president and executive director.  Ungaro will start in January.  

David Jameson of the Greensboro Chamber steps down January 31; CEO had been thinking of leaving since July

Reminder CACCE Office Undergoing Renovations
