Join CACCE today!
On behalf of
the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives
(CACCE), I want to thank you for your continued support of
our organization. Your commitment to continuing to provide
an avenue for training and education is invaluable to our
profession.
Too often,
we get so immersed in the day to day operations of our
chambers that we tend to neglect our own need for positive
reinforcement. CACCE’s mission is to provide professional
development classes and presentation of skill sets that will
help you become more productive and effective in your role
as a chamber leader. The Leadership Development Conference
(February 7-8, 2008), The Professional Development Series
(April 30-May 2, 2008), The Annual Management Conference
(September 3-5, 2008) and the CEO Roundtables are all proven
mediums for networking, idea sharing and sharpening your
leadership skills. All are valuable resources from which
you can draw support. We already have some great
conferences lined up this year – speakers that simply can’t
be missed. Be sure to checkout the Weekly Poll for
updates!
Not only do we have our wonderful programs
lined up, effective November 30, 2007, the Association of
Membership Executives of the Carolinas, AMEC, will have
officially merged with the Carolinas Association of Chamber
of Commerce Executives, CACCE. The Board of Directors for
both organizations believe this will positively affect each
organizations as well as their members. AMEC will dissolve
into a Membership Professionals Division that will fall
under the CACCE’s Board of Directors. There will be
membership focused opportunities during all conferences
currently hosted by CACCE as well as the option of adding
Chamber Membership Executives to the CACCE’s database and
directory. We feel sure that this will add more value to
all of the member organizations.
Enclosed is
