Danny Hearn CCE (Catawba Co. Chamber president) and I
met on May 9 to discuss logistics of this
important milestone in CACCE's history.
We are very excited about your opportunity to shape
CACCE's future, June 15-16 at the Greenville, NC
Chamber.
Realizing that June 15
is Father's Day, the dates selected were the best
Sunday-Monday combination of the summer to avoid
professional meeting conflicts. If you can spend
Father's Day with your family and join us for the Sunday
evening cookout at Susanne and Mike's home or can arrive
for the June 16 10 a. m. "think tank session", come on
down.
The CEO
Roundtable has been dropped to provide adequate time for
the Board meeting and Strategic Planning Session. Of more importance,
this strategic planning session will focus on
"Planning from the Bottom Up:
CACCE/Chamber Survival in Changing Times". Each
of CACCE's activities will be measured for its
effectiveness. Everything is on the table. Activities
could be added, eliminated or modified. It will be up to
you to determine how CACCE can best help your Chamber
prosper in a challenging, changing environment. This
is not an exercise in updating our current plan.
Registration
and hotel information are below. Susanne and Mike have
worked hard to provide an enjoyable experience and
productive atmosphere. The rest is up to us. See you in
Greenville, June 15-16.
