Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce is
looking to hire an Account Executive.

TITLE:
Account Executive
REPORTS TO:
Senior Vice President
GENERAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Sales & Retention – membership,
advertising, programs
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all sales in Membership &
Advertising.
Responsible for new Membership sales at a
level determined by the Budget and/or Program of Work.
Enact proper enrollment and service
procedures for each new membership account.
Responsible for collection
of all membership accounts.
Maintain and execute policy for
collecting delayed renewals as called for in the Membership
Plan.
Responsible for implementation of all
parts of Membership Plan as approved by the Board of
Directors and make suggestions to President on any revisions
to the plan that may be warranted.
Assist
with Ambassador program for membership retention.
Grow the Chamber Champions
program through sponsorship sales.
Meet budget goals and specific sales goals
as outlined in Compensation Structure document.
Utilize proper enrollment and service
procedures for new accounts (i.e. SBA)
Responsible for collection of past due
accounts.
Develop sales presentations and materials.
Service members and make
referrals to appropriate staff for assistance with member
needs.
Update database information as needed.
Assist with Business Expo.
Assist in marketing Work First, providing
referrals to Member Service Director.
Recruit OASIS partners and volunteers for
various committees.
Plan and implement all membership
campaigns/drives/volunteer sales efforts (Create a
Membership Growth Task Force in 2010).
Submit weekly reports to supervisor,
detailing prospects and sales activity.
Maintain ongoing advertising/Chamber
Champions/Glimpse reports.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by
supervisor or the President.
PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL
A formal employee evaluation will be
conducted quarterly to review goals and determine
achievement thereof.
