President/CEO for the Laurens County (SC) Chamber of
Commerce
The
chamber (a 2007 finalist and 2008 winner for National
Chamber of the Year) is seeking an energetic and visionary
President/CEO to guide and manage the daily operations of
our 500+ member Chamber.
The
successful candidate will be a skilled communicator with the
"people skills" necessary to build meaningful working
relationships with business and community leaders,
government officials, its Board of Directors, staff, and
chamber members.
A
results-driven planner, our candidate must have demonstrated
the ability to think strategically, develop goals with
action steps, successfully implement the plan and track
progress. Requires public speaking and written
communications skills, event planning and reporting skills;
excellent organizational capabilities, including defining
and managing multiple priorities simultaneously with a high
level of energy. The President/CEO must sustain membership
growth and retention, as well as build innovative non-dues
revenue producing programs, projects, and events
Competitive compensation and benefit package. The
President/CEO is required to reside in Laurens County, SC.
A Bachelor’s
Degree is preferred.
