The Laurinburg / Scotland County (NC) Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking an energetic, visionary leader to serve as the President of our progressive 400 member business organization. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator with the "people skills" necessary to build meaningful working relationships with business & community leaders, government officials, the Board of Directors, staff, and our members.

 

A results driven planner, our candidate must demonstrate the ability to think strategically, develop goals with action steps, and successfully implement the plan. Applicants should also possess a track record of sustained membership growth and retention, as well as building innovative non-dues revenue producing programs, projects, and events.

 

Our candidate must have a minimum of eight years management and leadership experience and have earned a bachelor's degree or possess equivalent experience. Graduation from or current participation in the Institute for Organization Management will be given preference. Salary and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
