Ewart to Address the Louisiana Chamber Executives

Chuck Ewart, CCE, IOM has been chosen to address the Spring management conference of the Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Executives Association (LACCE) in April 2006. This will be the first conference of the Louisiana Chamber Executives since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit Louisiana in August and September 2005. Ewart also spoke to the Mississippi Economic Development Councils’ first post-Katrina conference this past February in Jackson, MS.

Chuck Ewart will present a full-day of workshops to the LACCE conference participants. Topics that he will cover include “Board Governance”, “Managing Yourself and Leading Others”, and “Communicating to Influence”. Since 1991, Ewart has consistently been one of the top-rated faculty members of the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – The Institute for Organization Management. He currently teaches at the University of Arizona, University of Wisconsin, University of Georgia, Loyola-Marymount, and Villanova University. Ewart has taught and mentored over 2000 chamber and association professionals during his career.

Chuck Ewart established The Ewart Group in April 2002, after more than 23 years in the chamber of commerce profession. Since that time, Ewart has spoken to state association meetings in 16 states and in Germany and Ireland. During his career, Ewart has spoken to over 1000 groups throughout the United States and several foreign countries. He is highly sought-after as a retreat facilitator and strategic planner. Ewart recently authored a “how-to” manual entitled “Successful Planning Retreats.”
